With a passion for art and creation that began in her early childhood, Amy’s journey into the world of art, has been shaped by her deep love of nature and the breathtaking beauty of our earth. Growing up on a farm in Pennsylvania, she spent a great deal of time with her animals in nature walking and exploring the woods, in constant wonder and curiosity about this beautiful world that we live in. Art was a way to express that passion.
Her deep interest in art, architecture, and history, let her to pursue a degree in Interior design from West Virginia University. Throughout her career as a designer, Amy never ceased to cultivate her artistic talents and passions. She took workshops with many master painters to learn about various techniques and mediums. Having the wonderful opportunity to live in Maine for many years, she drew inspiration from the dramatic coastal landscapes that surrounded her.
Today, Amy resides in beautiful northern Virginia. She continues to work as an Interior Designer building beautiful homes and inviting gathering spaces for her clients. She spends as much time as possible painting and creating on many levels. She never ceases to create and draw inspiration from the never ending, breathtaking beauty of nature.
